It's been a year!!

Time is moving so quickly.  It has all ready been a year since we received our call to serve as missionaries in the Canada Halifax Mission.  A year since Cary retired, we sold our house, left our friends, and moved to Utah.  A lot of changes and a lot of adventures and no regrets.   We couldn't even imagine what was in the future for us and what it means to be a Senior Missionary Couple in the office of the Canada Halifax Mission.  We really only have a few weeks left here because we merge with the Canada Montreal Mission on July 1st and we will be moving to the office in Montreal. We have more adventures in our future.

Our friends hosted a going away party for us and we played some game that I can't remember the name of.. It was tons of fun.

Makennley is sad that we are leaving.

We miss these cute little girls.

It was hard to leave Chase and Shyla and Makennly and Brexley.
Ashley flew in to help us drive over.  She also wanted to come to Vancouver one more time.

My best friends--the Flamingo ladies.
JoAnn Delyea, Karen Schoepke, and Kathy Furin

One of our pit stops on our way to Utah.  Baxter doesn't really understand what is happening but he is such a good buddy and easy to travel with.
We had no idea then that he would be gone in a year.

Ashley held a retirement party for Cary when we got to her house.

We got to attend Jordan's Eagle Court of Honor.

Tenley and Baxter in front of the town house that we rented in Cedar Hills while we waited for our call.  Tens loves Baxter and always wanted to be the one watching him.  This was a nice temporary home for us and we really loved the area.

It Came!!!  Our Mission Call!!  We are called to the Canada Halifax Mission as Office Specialists and we enter the MTC on May 19, 2018.  We have 6 weeks to get ready.

I really can't believe that it has been a year.
